Giovanni's Pizza

This has been the best pizza in Lorain!!! Just recently the pizza has been different and not for the better. It’s not just the sauce but the crust. This really hurts my soul as I don’t live in Lorain anymore so when I come this pizza is a must. Please go back to your original recipe. We all love your pizza!!

Been around forever, some of the best pizza you can get in Cleveland hands down. If you're looking at reviews debating trying this place, stop looking, just try it. Pricing is great too for what you're getting. Just remember to bring cash as they don't take credit/debit.

The pizza had a savory sauce but the crust was very chewy and at times, very tough. While there was ample cheese on the pie, it wasn't really distinct. The establishment itself was clean and the service was courteous, quick and accurate

Giovanni's has been a family favorite of ours since the 1960s. Always great. I remember being disappointed as a kid when I had pizza from somewhere else for the first time. I think we'll have to pick up a large this weekend.

Holy cheese Batman! Best pizza ever hands down! I travel a lot and this place is always a must when I am local. Staff is friendly, new place is always clean, service is quick and the food is definitely a game changer.

I don't know what happend but Giovanni's used to be the best pizza in Lorain.The last two times I ordered pizza the quality has gone down.My pizza crust was not cooked all the way and had a wet texture to it.The toppings were little compared from before.When you picked up the slice all the toppings and cheese fell off.I wont be back if quality dont go back to the way it used to be.

I ordered a Pepperoni pizza and I'm so very sorry ... There was Maybe 2 to 3 pieces of Pepperoni on each slice. Crust was tough .This pizza was just like little Cesars. Just nasty.

Pizza has changed not as good as it was a couple of years ago

This original pizza recipe from the 1950’s is the best. They have a beautiful new building that is extremely clean. And the employees are unbelievably nice and seem genuinely happy to work there. This was our first time at Giovanni’s and our new favorite pizza place! Just remember, cash only!

I grew up on this pizza when I was kid . I am 46 now . I have moved away years ago . When I come back home I look forward to the best pizza I have ever eaten and the memories that go with it . This Saturday I was home visiting for the holidays. I was so very disappointed. Our pizza had almost no sauce on it and the crust was very chewy and tough.

I heard all this hype about this place, ordered a pizza (deluxe) was specific about no banana peppers and ordered a thin pizza. They told me that pizza would take 1 HR, didn't understand that but ok. Got the pizza wasn't thin and had banana peppers all over it. The woman basically told me take it or leave it, really good customer service. Will never go back

Me and Giovanni's Pizza both came into existence in 1956. Giovanni's Pizza has got to be the most consistent pizzeria I never experienced. Sure there are cheaper prices.... like the old saying states....you get what you pay for! Much too often I'm only the guy picking up for a friend so I'm not actually consuming any pizza. I guess I'm just thankful to experience the aroma. Giovanni's pizzas are pretty as a picture, as a matter of fact Giovanni's Pizza could be a centerfold!

The pizza is good, but it's not as good as back when I was growing up. The recipe has been altered, and the pies are getting smaller and more expensive. I hadn't had this pizza in a very long while due to moving away, and was looking forward to finally having a slice the way I remembered it years ago....Unfortunately, the magic is gone...I probably won't order again.

Probably The BEST PIZZA We Have EVER HAD! Saw this little place gave a total shot in tbe dark and boy we didn't regret it! So mad I dont live nearby to visit all the time. The PRICES WERE MORE THAN FAIR, Large Portions and the Quality was just flat out Awesome. The cheese had a great taste and was very whole and full of flavor and substance. Go here and support this wonderful place! So good, So simple yet amazing.

Quite possibly the best Pizza joint in the USA.. No joke. Just the smell of this place brings back memories, it never dissapoints. Good solid pizzas that fill you up. Loads of cheese not cheap & small portionings of ingredients lime every other pizza parlor.

I don't know what all the hype is about! After looking at the reviews this was a must for me. I had hi expectations and let's just say I was very disappointed. I would compare this pizza to something similar to Little Cesar's or Georgios Pizza. Dough taste like Betty Crocker just add water mix, toppings were scarce, and the salad was as basic as could be. The place was clean and staff was friendly but the pizza is VERY VERY BASIC!!!

Well i had 1st tme new years eve 2019/2020.. Im very picky and this pizza blew me away!! Im from different area ohio but tried all kinds- best ever right here! Think it was a veggie toppings. The crust cheese ect all exceptional#

Best pizza in the world at least in my eyes and I had o lot of pizza in my life and yes even new York you can't beat Giovanni's it's been around before I was even born and I'm 50 something lol I remember as a little kid my parents going to Giovanni's and couldn't wait for them to come home with that pizza it is literally a staple of lorain county..........

Stopped for a gift card but they do have great pizza older establishment well known in the area for great pizza a must stop, I recommend this establishment. Come get a slice !!!!
